Where the new edge economy is researched, built, tested, and proven.
TitleChain Foundation M5Labs is the applied research, engineering, standards, and reference-implementation engine that accelerates the ecosystem emerging around 100,000 women equipped to lead, launch, and grow ventures — keeping people in control of AI, data, devices, assets, and value.
The person — not the platform — is the root of authority.
As AI mediates identity, work, ownership, credentials, payments and markets — how much agency does the human still retain?
TitleChain Foundation is opening research, standards, testing frameworks, and public review around one central question. The first public research program of M5Labs is the Economic Capture Eval — an open benchmark built to test human agency across seven dimensions.
See the eval ↓AI is moving to the edge. Control should move with it — to the person.
AI is moving from centralized applications into personal devices, businesses, vehicles, machines, sensors, robots, local models, and autonomous endpoints. Digital assets and programmable payments are moving alongside it.
Without new standards, this shift can concentrate control, obscure accountability, and turn people into unprotected data and labor inputs. M5Labs begins from a different premise and builds the systems to prove identity, authority, consent, provenance, ownership, delegation, revocation, contribution, and economic participation — across digital and physical environments.
The capabilities required to govern and operate a new edge economy.
These are not jobs added around the edges of an existing platform. They are the human capabilities needed to keep people in control of AI, data, devices, assets, and the value they create.

Identity & Authority
Human and agent identity, credentials, delegation, recovery, and revocation across systems.
Security & Privacy
Threat engineering, privacy, red teaming, and supply-chain assurance for the edge.
Edge Compute & AI
Local AI, GPU/CPU/NPU performance, home nodes, and runtime optimization across devices.
Physical-World Evidence
Sensor fusion, spatial provenance, embodied AI, and human-authorized machine action.
Standards & Policy

The first funded roles protect the cohort baseline and stabilize the platform.
Future roles and workstreams — not active job offers unless a posting is marked Funded and Open.
Statistician, Evidence & Impact Lead
Cohort baselines, outcome definitions, sampling, evaluation, and defensible public reporting.
Senior Product Engineer & Technical Lead
Owns member and contributor journeys from IAM through M5POD, M5-CV, credentials, and personal AI.
Research-to-Production Pipeline Engineer
Converts standards and prototypes into dependable APIs, services, tests, and reproducible deployments.
Founder & Executive Operations Partner
Protects founder attention and turns priorities, partnerships, and commitments into completed work.
Economic Systems & Digital-Asset Economist
Models the M1–M5 economy, incentives, cooperative ownership, sustainability, and capture risk.
Strategic Partnerships & Commercialization Lead
Builds repeatable sponsor, grant, pilot, and institutional pathways without fragmenting the core.
The human-owned Personal Mind Agent.
A research program exploring a private, human-controlled cognitive and experiential environment — informed by the Conscious Turing Machine framework of Dr. Lenore Blum and Dr. Manuel Blum, and by Brainish research into multimodal internal representations.
The goal is not a platform that owns a digital copy of a person. It is a space that helps her remember, understand, navigate, and selectively share her own life — without surrendering ownership or authority.
MILNER protects mind authority
A cognitive-rights layer for brain, biometric, memory, sensory, and experiential data. It blocks unauthorized access, extraction, inference, and impersonation. An inference about a person is not the person's memory, intent, or consent.
Dignity agents assist only by permission
A person may authorize selected dignity agents for a defined need. Each receives only the minimum access needed — limited by person, purpose, duration, and context. Trust for one task never creates general access.
3D experience sovereignty
Spatial and sensory experience preserves provenance: whose viewpoint, where and when, which source, how transformed, and what the person has authorized for private use, sharing, or no disclosure at all.
Research begins with synthetic or fully consented test data. Neural, medical, or human-subject research requires independent ethics, privacy, and institutional review.
The Economic Capture Eval.
An open public-interest benchmark for measuring whether AI and digital systems preserve human economic agency. It is not a blacklist — it is a test: open, reproducible, and challengeable.
Public Commons · Public Review Pilot v0.1
Who holds the asset, credential, or record?
Who can read, infer, or train on the data?
Who sets the defaults and the boundaries?
Can it port, or is it locked to one rail?
Can authority be withdrawn mid-action?
Is the claim independently checkable?
Can the person leave whole, not hollowed out?

What research support funds
- 01Scenario research and benchmark maintenance
- 02Human scoring and adjudication
- 03Held-out validation
- 04Methodology review
- 05Independent replication
- 06Public datasets and documentation
- 07Reviewer stipends
- 08Compute and testing infrastructure
- 09Foundation operations required to maintain the Public Commons
What funding does not buy
Sponsors do not buy scores.
Funding does not buy governance.
Funding does not suppress findings.
Funding does not purchase private participant data.
The Public Commons should not belong to the organization that funds it. Sponsors may support the work. Researchers may challenge the work. Implementers may test the work. But no sponsor purchases control over the result.

Economic Capture Eval
An open public-interest benchmark for measuring whether AI and digital systems preserve human economic agency.
Everyone begins with the same foundation.
SOPHIA role mapping identifies capability. It does not automatically grant access. Every system, dataset, fund, and production environment remains governed by separate purpose-specific authorization.
- 01Complete an M5 IAM account.
- 02Activate an M5POD for protected, purpose-limited participation.
- 03Complete an M5-CV.
- 04Map a primary role to one of the 37 SOPHIA Registry tracks.
- 05Add secondary roles where appropriate.
- 06Propose a governed new role when the occupation does not yet exist.
- 07Build a portable record of verified learning, credentials, and contributions.
Five clearly identified participation models. Stated before work begins.
Open public contribution
Discussions, reviews, and open-source work — attributed to your M5-CV when accepted, not automatically paid.
Funded issue or milestone
A scoped GitHub issue marked Funding Ready with approved budget, deliverables, and review process.
Paid specialist or fellowship
Defined project, hourly, or retainer engagement with written scope, rate, and authority boundaries.
Trainer & cohort delivery
Compensation tied to accepted milestones and verified deliverables — not enrollment or recruitment.
Funded employee role
When a position is Funded and Open, the posting identifies entity, salary range, benefits, and deliverables.
No one performs paid work without a written scope. Compensation never purchases standards authority, private data, or a promise of future return.
Turning the public-interest mission into usable infrastructure.
The Foundation stewards the open standards. M5Labs researches, builds, tests, measures, and demonstrates how they work. Commercial activity stays in the commercial entity and never controls the standards, member data, or canonical records.
- Applied research and defensive publications
- Open standards and canonical specifications
- Reference architectures and open-source implementations
- Conformance tests and assurance frameworks
- Human-controlled AI and agent-authority evaluations
- Economic models and independent impact measurement
- Developer tools, documentation, and learning pathways
- Bounded pilots with sponsors, institutions, and jurisdictions
Every M5Labs participant completes an M5-CV and maps their work to one of 37 SOPHIA Registry tracks — or helps define a new role when the occupation does not yet exist.
A living registry of the capabilities the new economy actually requires — as portable evidence, not a platform-owned profile.
We are building the people, standards, and public infrastructure for a human-controlled edge economy.
Whether you are a woman preparing to activate your capabilities, an expert defining a new occupation, a developer building open infrastructure, or a sponsor ready to fund public-interest innovation — there is a place for you.
